*In Traditional Chinese Medicine, irritability, restlessness, moodiness, allergic conditions, skin eruptions, asthma, and abdominal pain from cold often arise from disharmony between the Liver and Spleen, Qi stagnation, and invasion of external pathogens. This formula releases the exterior, regulates Liver and Spleen, relieves stagnation, spreads Liver Qi, eliminates heat in the interior and relieves mental depression.

  • Gui Zhi 桂枝 – Warms and unblocks the channels, disperses Wind-Cold, improves circulation, and relieves fullness in the chest, abdominal pain from chills, and common cold with fever.

  • Bai Shao 白芍 – Nourishes Blood and Yin, softens the Liver, and relieves spasms, helping with irritability, menstrual discomfort, uterine fibroids, and mood swings.

  • Sheng Jiang 生姜 – Warms the middle Jiao, disperses Cold, and harmonizes the Stomach, aiding in allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, and abdominal distention.

  • Da Zao 大枣  – Tonifies the Spleen and Qi, nourishes the Blood, and calms the Shen, helping with restlessness, hyperactivity, and low resilience to stress.

  • Zhi Gan Cao 甘草 – Harmonizes all the herbs in the formula, tonifies Qi, reduces inflammation, and soothes itching, eczema, and psoriasis.

Together, these herbs regulate Liver–Spleen disharmony, release surface pathogens, and calm the Spirit. They address emotional imbalance (irritability, restlessness, easily annoyed, on edge, moody, grumpy) as well as physical conditions (eczema, allergic rhinitis, asthma, cold-related abdominal pain, uterine fibroids, menstrual discomfort, psoriasis, and hyperactivity disorder), bringing harmony and relief to both body and mind.
