Restore & Revive — Liver Blood Tea

US$29.00

Dong Quai • Red Date • Goji Berry

A traditional whole-herb tea created to nourish Liver Blood, replenish Qi, and restore the body from within.

Unlike our tincture version of Restore & Revive, this pouch contains the whole herbs themselves, portioned into 5 individual packs for you to simmer slowly at home.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Blood is more than something that circulates through the veins. Blood nourishes the muscles, skin, hair, eyes, menstrual cycle, reproductive system, and Shen (spirit). When Blood is abundant, the body feels nourished, grounded, warm, and resilient.

DONG QUAI — DANG GUI 当归

Often called the "female ginseng," Dong Quai is one of the most important Blood-nourishing herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It traditionally nourishes and invigorates Blood, while encouraging healthy circulation. It is especially associated with women's health and is commonly used when Blood nourishment is needed around the menstrual cycle.

RED DATES — DA ZAO 大枣

Sweet, grounding, and deeply nourishing, Red Dates have been used for centuries to strengthen Qi, nourish Blood, and support the Spleen and digestive system.

They bring a naturally gentle sweetness to the tea while helping replenish the body during periods of fatigue, stress, or depletion.

GOJI BERRIES — GOU QI ZI 枸杞子

Goji berries traditionally nourish Liver Blood and Kidney essence and are especially associated with the eyes, skin, healthy aging, and vitality.

Added toward the end of the simmering process, they give the finished tea a beautiful natural sweetness while completing this classic nourishing combination.

WHAT'S INSIDE

5 individually portioned herb packs

Approximately 46g total per pouch

Each pack contains a traditional combination of:

Dong Quai • Red Dates • Goji Berries

One herb pack makes approximately 2½–3 cups of tea and may be enjoyed throughout the day or shared with someone you love.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIVER BLOOD TEA

You will need:
1 herb pack
4½ cups water
Small pot with lid
Strainer
Heat-safe container

FIRST BOIL

1. Rinse the herbs.
Open one herb pack. Quickly rinse the herbs twice with clean water.

2. Prepare the Red Dates.
Remove the pits from the Red Dates.

3. Set aside the Goji Berries.
Rinse the Goji Berries and keep them to the side. They will be added later.

4. Begin your decoction.
Place the Dong Quai and pitted Red Dates into a pot with 4½ cups of water.

5. Bring to a boil.
Bring to a full boil over high heat. Continue cooking until the liquid has reduced to approximately 3½ cups.

6. Add the Goji Berries.
Once the tea has reduced to approximately 3½ cups, add the rinsed Goji Berries.

Reduce the heat and continue simmering until approximately 2½–3 cups of tea remain.

7. Strain and enjoy.
Pour the finished tea into a heat-safe container.

Enjoy it warm throughout the day or share it with a friend.

Do not discard the herbs yet—you can brew them a second time.

OPTIONAL SECOND BOIL

Traditional Chinese herbal teas can often be decocted more than once to draw more from the herbs.

Return the same cooked herbs to your pot and add 1½ cups fresh water.

Bring to a boil over high heat for approximately 8 minutes, then reduce the heat and simmer until about ¾ cup remains.

Strain.

You may drink the second brew separately or combine it with your first batch of tea.

HOW OFTEN TO DRINK

Enjoy 1–3 times per week as part of your nourishment and wellness routine.

This is not an instant tea or tea bag. These are whole traditional herbs intended to be slowly decocted in water. The longer preparation is part of the medicine-making ritual.

A RETURN TO TRADITIONAL NOURISHMENT

There is something powerful about returning to the way herbs were traditionally prepared: whole plants, water, heat, and time.

Instead of rushing nourishment, we allow the herbs to slowly release into the water.

Make a pot. Drink it warm. Share it with someone you love.

Nourish your Blood. Replenish your Qi. Restore & Revive.
