Sea Moss Salad:
Soak the dried sea moss for about 1.5-2 hours in filtered water, changing the water a few times and removing any sand or particles. For crunchier consistency, soak less, for softer, soak more. 2 hours is the maximum that I soak it for, because I prefer mine with a bit of crunch!
Cut with scissors into bite sized pieces.
Shake off excess water.
Add all toppings, seasonings and mix well. Let sit for 15-45 minutes and serve.
Ingredients:
1/4 oz sea moss
2 stalks of scallions sliced (white and green parts)
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp Ginger Power
1/8 tsp sesame seeds
1 - 1.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 - 1.5 tbsp liquid aminos
1 - 1.5 tbsp good quality olive oil
optional: a few drops of black sesame seed oil
Make Your Own Sea Moss Gel:
Soak the dried moss for about 6-8 hours in filtered water.
Rinse and blend in a high-speed blender with new, fresh water.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 6 months.
